Food Trip: Oakroom, Oakwood Premier

“The Oakroom is Oakwood Premier’s signature restaurant, rendered in sumptuous browns and earth tones with views to the city.

It offers a fine selection of international cuisine by French Executive Chef Jerome Cartailler who uses natural and the freshest seasonal ingredients to present an excellent range of choices, from Filipino and Asian favorites to gourmet classics and healthy options.

Popular dishes include Seared Tuna Loin, Braised Sea-Bass Fillet, Chicken Tikka Masala and the famous Choco Lava Cake.

The Oakroom has three private rooms that can accommodate six up to 15 persons for dining. It is open 6:00 am to 11:00 pm daily.” – http://www.oakwoodpremiermanila.com/oakroom.php

Oakroom restaurant – with its dark wooden furniture, white linen, and brown leather chairs – is very cozy, elegant and inviting.

Oakroom restaurant serves quarterly hotel buffet offerings. For my mom’s birthday, we sampled some international dishes on Oakroom’s buffet table.

Coldcuts, salads, and different kinds of soup were aplenty.

Delectable desserts were also available. Cake slices, pies, and cold treats were available to satisfy guests’ sweet cravings.
