Food Trip: Gayuma ni Maria

Gayuma is no newbie in the resto industry. Gayuma might sound very familiar to most foodies in the QC area, as the very first Gayuma restaurant was located several years ago at Esteban Abada at the Xavierville area, near the Ateneo de Manila (Loyola) campus. After a handful of attempts of putting up the resto after the first one burned down, Gayuma is now Gayuma Ni Maria, still an aphrodisiac resto, situated in V. Luna Extension, Quezon City.

Gayuma ni Maria still has the flirty feminine charm.

Gayuma is known for its dessert selections — the BTS cake (Better Than Sex), particularly, had a cult following. Gayuma ni Maria twisted the old version to Beats Sex Anyday, with the same sweet and chocolatey BTS cake, topped with butterscotch cream and bits of chocolate.

Gayuma’s gayuma is still strong despite the resto’s absence for several years from the local resto industry. Gayuma’s food is still good, the ambience still great.

We’ll absolutely be back soon to re-taste the other dishes.
