Travel: Singapore 2009 (3 countries for less than PHP 15 thou)
I’ve always wanted to go to Singapore and see the city for myself. I couldn’t believe how clean it was. Couldn’t believe how developed it was despite the limited resources – read: Singapore imports everything, and boy do I mean everything – from other countries. SG imports grass, trees, drinking water, food (even mcdo food), soil, etc from its neighboring countries.
The Philippines is rich in resources. I am fervently hoping and praying that we use our resources wisely. We can be as developed as SG, we just need to exert the extra effort to make it happen.
