Travel: Caleruega Church

One of my must do’s during my 12-day work leave was to visit the Transfiguration Chapel at Caleruega. I scoured the internet in search for several useful pieces of information and a map to the place. Contrary to popular belief, Caleruega is located at Nasugbu, Batangas not Tagaytay.
Armed with a downloaded map and Caleruega-related articles, I drove to Batangas via Tagaytay one sunny weekend.

Rising tall and majestic in the highest point of Caleruega is the Transfiguration Chapel. The chapel itself is replete with symbolism. Its façade is a reproduction of the original chapel in Caleruega, Spain.
