Travel: Beautiful Batanes Trip Day 3 (Last Day on the Island)

What do I do on the last day of each travel and tour? Review my gastronomic experiences.

I had my first Ivatan cuisine experience on Batanes Day 1 at Hiro’s Cafe. I was served (1) uvud balls made with pork, flying fish and banana tree stalk plus (2) vunes or dried gabi.

Lunch on Day 2 was a quick break from the day-long Batan Island Tour.
Lunch was inclusive of Coconut Crab.

…and Lonyes (Ivatan crispy fried pork)

My dinner on Day 2 at Fundacion Pacita was my favorite. Sinigang with tender beef (meat would literally separate from the bone).

Dinner was served with shanghai too.

Prep for my trip back to Manila. For long Batanes. See you next year.
