Food Trip: Le Souffle
It was June 2009 and I was on a 10-day leave. Wanted to go out of the country to celebrate Arman’s birthday. However, we couldn’t leave due to the A H1N1 flu scare. Decided to treat Arman to Le Souffle instead.
Coming from Anabelle’s (to buy Arman’s dad food), we had to drive to Makati. Lo and behold – traffic was at a standstill! We left Anabelle’s Tomas Morato at 8PM. We got to Le Souffle Rockwell at 11 PM.
Good thing I had a table reserved. The kitchen was already closed, but Restaurant Manager Raquel had it opened just to ensure that we get served. Talk about great customer experience. Kudos Miss Raquel. You made two hungry souls extremely happy that day. Love your excellent service. Love Chef Jessie Sincioco’s great food.
Love love love Le Souffle. We went back a week after – – earlier this time (at around 4 PM) – – to experience the great gastronomic adventure again. We’ll definitely be back in early 2010. Can’t wait.
